HR of bad brains collage

To fans who know H.R. (aka Human Rights, aka Paul Hudson) is pretty much superman. He lead Bad Brains, as well as the entire, D.C. hardcore scene in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, mashing up sounds no one heard before and coining the term “moshing.” He was a musician’s musician. And like a true punk, H.R. has never stopped. He continues to expound upon his spiritual philosophy of Positive Mental Attitude and his most recent album, Give Thanks, dropped in 2019.

You can’t put H.R. in any kind of box. But we’re honored he worked with us to squeeze himself into a tube.
